Thames & Kosmos SolarBots Cosmic Explorers Science Kit

Blast off into hands-on engineering by assembling five solar-powered space robots with zero batteries required. Kids start by building Helio, the core robot equipped with an electric motor, gear wheel, and compact solar cell that instantly turns real sunlight into motion.

Helio easily hops into four distinct planetary transport crafts, including a two-legged walker, a six-legged crawler, a three-wheeled trike, and an orbiting exploration station. Each mechanical build showcases clever gear mechanisms and brings alternative energy concepts to life through active outdoor play.

A 36-page, full-color illustrated guide leads young astronauts step-by-step through every build while sharing exciting facts about real-world solar technology in space exploration.
